What is Piggy Banks?

Piggy Banks, more than a piece of software, is a financial life-style.  Piggy Banks helps you manage your expenses not by telling you how much you have spent, but by telling you how much you have left to spend.

This way, you can eat out or pamper yourself without guilt and still achieve your finanacial goals!

How does Piggy Banks work?

When you first start Piggy Banks, we will walk you through the process of creating a budget.  We have made it very easy for you to do this and it will take you between 15 to 30 minutes.

Your budget is made up of categories (for example, Eating Out, Car Insurance, and Pocket Expenses).  Based on your recent activity, we help you determine how much you spend in each of these categories.

From then on, every time you get paid, let's say every two weeks, Piggy Banks will put enough money to cover your expenses for each category.  For example, if you pay $500 in Car Insurance every six months, then Piggy Banks will set apart $40 every time you get paid.

Now all you have to do is take a look at a given category to know how much money you have left to spend!

Do I have to add transactions manually like in other software?

No!  In most cases, Piggy Banks connects directly to your bank to download all your transaction information.  In cases where your bank does not support this method, you will simply log on to your bank, download your transactions, and Piggy Banks will automatically import them.  Yes, its that easy!

How much does it cost?

Nada. Nothing. Its completely free!

Is it secure?

Yes!  Unlike other solutions, Piggy Banks is installed on your computer and all your bank information stays on your computer.

That means that your bank account numbers, user names, and passwords are only sent directly from your computer to your bank through a secure channel.
